Description
This book provides a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of the processual philosophy of biology, a new and exciting approach to understanding the nature of life. The processual philosophy of biology offers a unique perspective on the world of living organisms, one that emphasizes the importance of process, change, and becoming. This perspective has important implications for our understanding of a wide range of biological phenomena, from the evolution of new species to the development of individual organisms.
The book is divided into three parts. The first part introduces the basic concepts of processual philosophy and its implications for biology. The second part examines the processual philosophy of biology in relation to specific biological phenomena, such as evolution, development, and cognition. The third part explores the broader implications of the processual philosophy of biology for our understanding of the world, including its implications for ethics, religion, and metaphysics.
